Just want to drop you a note that your post with the H3C documentation is quite useful. Thanks for it! We will be implementing 70 APs with 2 controllers as a pilot and I have used the files to review the design given by our System Integration.

I’m still having a mission getting our implementation operational – have you had much experience of operating AP’s on different VLANs to the AC?

For the 7760 AP on the H3C you can add a dns A record for 3ComWLC for your dns domain given out by DHCP. Otherwise you can manually configure it, both are listed here
This will work provided the VLANs are routed and you give out DNS domain space in DHCP. I believe there is a separate DNS record for H3C branded APs something like H3C I have both define in DNS.
